Focus uses the woodland and farmland on our fabulous 360-acre organic site
to conduct the outdoor experiential activities. These activities are
designed to support the objectives of the training and can be tailored to
suit the physical capabilities of the delegates. The outdoor activities
provide an opportunity to explore many business concepts such as planning,
time management, communication and leadership. These are conducted in an
extremely safe environment and are really good fun!
Focus takes a unique approach to learning, and the key to our success is enabling the transfer of skills learnt back to the workplace. To add to the fun, we review in our specially designed woodland ‘debriefing huts’, which are situated next to the activities. We utilise Kolbs learning cycle and also we work on the premise:
“I hear and I forget I see and I remember I do and I understand” - Confucius
Also, Focus has developed its own Diagnostic to measure high-performing team competencies pre and post intervention.
