CSR Taster Day - did we walk the walk?
A big thank you to all the guests who attended last week's taster day entitled: "The Need for Sustainable leadership and Corporate Social Responsibility".
The day was useful to those already involved in CSR as they could relate well to the Clough Bottom case study - the organic farm where Focus Training is based. For others who work in companies where CSR policies have not yet been implemented, it was a comprehensive introduction. Many of our visitors commented that Focus taster days are an excellent opportunity to network with like minded professionals - and to get support from others within the industry.
We introduced the TetraMap diagnostic and linked this into sustainable leadership and CSR which guests found insightful and 'food for thought'. If you weren't able to join us and want to know more, please see details of our own 'green' story and how we have implemented CSR throughout the farm. If you'd like to know more about the TetraMap behavioural tool and how it can relate to your company, please get in touch.
Overall, we're really pleased the day was enjoyed by all - and as requsted, we are pleased to be able to support any of our visitors who are looking to introduce the CSR policies and a sustainable business plan into their own companies. Our guests described the Focus trainers as relaxed, knowledgeable and inclusive, and enjoyed the delicious two course lunch freshly prepared on the premises by our on site chef.
Now the weather is warming up, we are planning a summer taster day which will involve use of the outdoor experiential activities, so if you would like to join us, please give us a call on 01254 826 222 and we'll reserve you a space. Details will follow soon, so please watch this space!
