September Taster Day - A Big Thank You!
Thanks to all our guests who attended and helped to make a success of last week's Taster Day : How do we Maximise Employee Engagement?
We decided to run a Taster Day on this specific subject, as in this difficult economic climate, and the subsequent redundancies, many people have been left feeling demotivated. We wanted to introduce some details of the leading-edge model - Nearby Leadership, and to look at how this can be linked into experiential activities for impacting learning: essentially to maximise your teams' engagement.
Our guests, who came from a wide range of industries including Marriott Hotels, First Direct, Northern Foods and Mama's & Papa's, had opportunity to experience outdoor activities which brought out different learning points for discussion and reflection. The activities are situated within our beautiful 360 acre organic farmland - in the grassy and wooded areas.
Of course, we had specially ordered in the beautiful weather and we weren't disappointed! Blues skies and a pleasant temperative provided the perfect backdrop for the event. We looked after our guests from the Clough Bottom kitchen, where chef Rachael prepared bacon or egg butties as everyone arrived followed by a delicious two course hot lunch - Spinach and Feta stuffed chicken with new potatoes and salad followed by Raspberry Shortcake.
As part of the day, we explained how Focus Experiential Training can help companies with their own specific training needs and design bespoke training, however as an example of the kind of workshop we can deliver, we gave details of some of the workshops we have offered to clients previously. These were:
